AS AN ART FORM- Traditional Drawing Techniques.
Whether the medium is graphite, charcoal or Conté, the traditional
drawing techniques create a beautiful and timeless form of art. Drawing students work primarily from life and learn to see
and understand light and how it flows over a form. Emphasis is on seeing and drawing the exact proportions of a subject,
in 3-dimensional space, sharpening the student's power of observation so as to be able to draw the minute value changes and
edges of the form accurately, with the goal of achieving a sense of space and an extremely realistic drawing of the subject.
